'Il Bacio' opened it’s first restaurant at
61 Stoke Newington Church Street in 1995.
And unlike many of the transient restaurants we have seen come and go over the passing years, ‘Il Bacio’ has remained a strong family orientated restaurant, offering high quality, reasonably priced food and drink, delivered with discerning Italian charm.

The restaurant was started by childhood sweethearts Luigi and Michela, as a small family run business.
Luigi, originally from ‘Siniscola’, North-Est Sardegna (Sardinia) arrived in London in 1987, with the idea of bringing with him the rich culture of his home.

Both Luigi and Michela have fond memories of watching the StokeNewington they hold so dear change and blossom over the last decade.
